Ideal for clients wanting to diminish the look of wrinkles, Meta-Therapy treatment is a safe, 100% natural anti-aging treatment. Our Meta-Therapy procedure uses Dermatude's state-of-the-art device composed of polycarbonate needles ''as opposed to steel from Microneedling'' to make thousands of practically microscopic perforations per minute. These practically invisible microperforation start the natural repair mechanism of the skin and will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin is restored from the inside out through regeneration of the skin tissue.

What to Expect
Meta-Therapy improves skin elasticity and texture.
You will notice: a reduction and softening of crows feet, fine lines, expression lines and wrinkles, a reduction of smile lines around the mouth, a reduction of pigmentation and the diminishment of dilated surface capillaries, softening and smoothing of fibrous scar tissue and improve acne scar. Meta-therapy has a double active function.
During your treatment, active ingredients are also placed into the layer of the skin where they can be most effective in order to treat your specific needs.
Microneedling or Meta-Therapy ?
One of the main differences between Microneedling and Meta-Therapy, is that the latter is a gentler treatment that does not require topical anesthesia, aimed towards the reduction of fine lines and surface wrinkles while causing minimal redness. Whereas, Microneedling reaches a deeper level of the dermis to treat mature wrinkles and scaring. It requires a downtime of 24h-72h.

Pre-Treatment Tip
To avoid irritation and sensitivity, we ask that you to avoid waxing, including other hair removal services, for at least 3 days prior to, and 3-5 days following, the treatment.
Post-Treatment Care
1) Immediately change your pillowcase when arriving home.
2) No makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment & cleans your brushes prior to your 1st post- treatment application
3) Avoid sun tanning and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for the first 24 hours post treatment. After 24 hours, always use sunblock (30 spf or higher) & wear a hat if you’re outside.
4) Avoid swimming pools, saunas, & sweaty situations including intense workouts at the gym, to protect your newly treated skin. After 24 hours have passed, you may be able to resume these activities.
Maintenance
For optimal results, we suggest one treatment per month for a total of three months. It is to be noted that individual results may vary.
Contraindications
It is to be noted that persons with Scleroderma, blood clotting problems, cardiovascular diseases, cardiac abnormalities, immunosuppression, active bacterial or fungal infections, Herpes Simplex or Zoster infections, or facial Botox or fillers injected within the last 6 weeks cannot have this treatment done. This treatment cannot be done on Keloid or severely raised scars, Eczema, Psoriasis, Active Acne, Rosacea or other chronic skin conditions as well as Actinic (Solar) Keratosis, Diabetes (delayed skin / wound healing), presence of raised moles, warts, skin tags or lesions within the treatment area.
