Contraindications
This treatment will enhance the absorption of all ingredients applied to the skin. For this reason – chemical peels should not be applied immediately before an Intraceuticals treatment. Additionally, ingredients such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Retinols and Hydroquinone should not be applied immediately before or after an Intraceuticals Infusion. Please wait 24-48 hours before re-introducing AHA’s, Retinoic acid, or Hydroquinone to your home care regimen. This facial should not be performed on sunburnt, blistered, infected or broken skin. It is essential to disclose any history of skin cancer or pre-malignant moles, recent use of products such as Accutane or RetinA, any known allergies, any aesthetic or surgical procedure performed on the applied area (such as but not limited to Botox, chemical peels, fillers, laser treatments etc.) and pregnancy to your technician. This treatment cannot be performed on skin with dermatitis, psoriasis, or active Herpes Simplex.
